An internship experience at Global Action on Aging in New York City

By : Mylène Barra (layout and editting by GAA Team)

I am glad to share with you my New York City experience and my pictures.

I could tell you so many stories about New York but I think some of my pictures don't need any explanation...

This year, it snowed only once... So with my friends, we went to Central Park to see a totally different city covered by the snow...

Central Park was totally transformed by magic...

For the World Economic Forum happening in New York for the first time, a large number of NYPD cars ... were parked at the UN and even a tank....

I arrived on Sept 24th, 2001, 13 days after "Sept 11". 6 months after, 2 lights were set for one month at the Twin Towers' place.

Oh by the way, here I am on the Brooklyn Bridge...

This is the view from the 86th floor of the Empire State Building : you can distinguish the Chrystler Building and the United Nations...

I hope you enjoyed the pictures... I enjoyed taking them and living in New York City...

If you have any questions of comments, please email me at barramylene@yahoo.fr
