MOSCOW, August 1 (Itar-Tass) - Pensions will increase by 130 roubles on average as of Sunday. The rise will embrace all pensioners or 38.2 million people, a source in the Russian Pension Fund told Itar-Tass.

The basic part of pension will increase by 39 roubles to reach 660 roubles a month. Thus, the minimal pension will reach 1,003 roubles a month, and the average pension will amount to 2,195 roubles after the increase, the source emphasized.

Chairman board of the Russian Pension Fund Gennady Batanov earlier said various categories of pensioners would have various increments. "Pensions of some of them will grow by 100 roubles and by 300 roubles -- of some others," he pointed out. In particular, pensions of handicapped people and partakers of the Great Patriotic War will increase by 271 and 265 roubles respectively. Their pensions will reach 4,500 roubles a month after the indexation.

Additional expenditure for the indexation will make 4.6 billion roubles a month, the source indicated. "There are funds for this, as there are more revenues in the pension system for the first half of the year than it was planned," Minister for Health and Social Development Mikhail Zurabov earlier noted.
