Wheelchair Woman Robbed In Street

A woman in a wheelchair was robbed after she was stopped by two men who demanded money. 

She was on Avenue Road in Grantham, Lincolnshire, on Tuesday when two men ordered her and a friend into handing over £100. 

The women, described by police as elderly, were not injured in the incident but were left shaken. 

The men are described as white, with one in his early 20s and about six feet tall with dark curly hair. 

One of the assailants was wearing a green top, blue jeans. 

The other was shorter, aged between 30 and 40, about 5ft 6ins tall and wearing a black top, grey trousers, with dark cropped hair and described as having weasel-type, sharp facial features.
