The Government of Kyrgyzstan Plans to Create Coordination Council on Problems of Elderly People

The government of Kyrgyzstan plans to create coordination council on problems of elderly people. Deputy Prime Minister Adahan Madumarov told it during the meeting with representatives of non-governmental sector and Minister of Labor and Social Protection Yevgeniy Semenenko. In his words, "creation of the coordination council will allow to cooperate effectively to all governmental and non-governmental organizations in solving problems of elderly people."

He has also noted that the government should supervise and carry out rigidly the duties before citizens, it should show initially to people in what will be engaged, and at the end of work to report about results. 

During the meeting the coordinator of "AgeNet Central Asia" Svetlana Boshtovenko told that a program, which will aim to solve problems of elderly people, has been approved based on recommendations from an international conference on September 6-7.
