Sum: The scientists from the Institute of Biochemical Physics, Russia, reports that they gained immortal cells from the human organism by implanting to the cells a special gene. But, at this stage they succeeded only with one type of cells, fibroblasts. The experiments on other types of cells gave no results. The experiments on mousses achieved the increase of their life time by 30-35%. Now there research towards longer life has two main directions: genes and antioxidizer, because scientists believe that aging is a process of gradual oxidation of cells. Минулого
