‘Modern
Maturity’ rates the top companies across the country
Oct. 2 — Retirement packages, a pleasant corporate culture and other benefits can
make all the difference to employees — and are especially important to
workers over the age of 50. The American Association of Retired Persons’
“Modern Maturity” magazine has rated 37 companies for their friendliness
to older workers and chosen to top 15. Check out their selections below and
why “Modern Maturity” thinks they are so special.
AARP STAFF
prepared an application that covered six key categories: recruiting,
corporate culture, wages/salaries, continued opportunity, benefits and
retirement. They analyzed the applications and chose finalists from among 37
employer entries. The finalists were reviewed by four outside experts and
the judges’ comments figured heavily in the final list.
