America's Health Care System Is In Critical Condition. How Can It Be Saved?

Today's employees with health insurance can mature into tomorrow's retirees with health benefits. The labor movement is committed to negotiating contracts that provide needed health care and protect the interest of retirees. As a result, 73% of union workers have health insurance, compared to 51% of the non-union workforce. Recently, the Communications Workers of America, a trade union representing thousands of members across the country, released the report "America's Health Care System Is in Critical Condition," that examines the shortcomings of the current health care system and it's impact on the workforce.
