Global Action on Aging works on social and economic justice for older people. We research, advocate, and develop public policies to improve the lives of older persons worldwide.

Global Action on Aging is independent and free of corporate and government pressure, so we depend primarily on contributions from individual members. Members are GAA's core supporters. We greatly value members' financial assistance. Members' greatest satisfaction is their participation in the GAA community and their knowledge that they help advance GAA's work.

Members' dues and contributions help GAA to:

promote greater involvement of ordinary people in shaping global policy
keep this website constantly updated with new information and analysis
provide the world's most complete information and data on aging
build stronger networks of NGOs and people's organizations in the aging field
advocate for progressive approaches to global social and economic issues
promote social justice, democracy, and peace among older individuals
