One-stop Job centers to improve service to older workers

The effectiveness of one-stop job centers, especially with the regard to older workers, has been called into question. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce says that only 5 percent of businesses use these centers to hire or train workers. Furthermore, the aging network reports the centers do not always work well with older workers. The Labor Department is now under orders from Congress to see that these centers serve older workers.
