An Internship Experience at Global Action on Aging in New York City

By : Claire Laganne, intern 2003-2004

During my internship at Global Action on Aging, I had the opportunity to discover and love New York City.

All the time, New York has a unique atmosphere. Here are some of my pictures, testimony of my stay.

Fall:

Central Park, November 2003: Turtle Pond and the Great Lawn.

November 2003, on Brooklyn Bridge.

The East River, from the Brooklyn Bridge, Sunset in November 2003.

The tree of the Great Lawn, Central Park, November 2003. Autumn was coming.

Winter:

December 2003: 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, a typical building of New York!

The Statue of Liberty during Christmas vacation: a perfect sunny (and freezing) day!

The "Blue Building", one of my favorites in New York...

A country's present to the United Nations in the UN Garden, December 2003

Walk in Times Square, January 2004. It was a cold and rainy day...

Spring:

Turtle Pond and the Great Lawn in April 2004. Everyone rested in Central Park during this sunny and warm weekend.

Flowers in Central Park. April 2004. Spring is back!

I hope you enjoyed this page as much as I enjoyed New York. If you want to reach me, feel free to send me an email at: claire.laganne@laposte.net
