Dr. Rehab Watian, Director of the Central Administration of Primary Health Care Committee describes how the Health Ministry works to provide all health care services to older persons in the Kingdom. The Ministry has placed its priority on serving older people in the best way possible.

“The elderly between reality and ambition" will be the second scientific conference to take place at the University of Patra with the participation of 20 researchers and specialists from Jordanian universities. The conference will discuss a number of developmental problems and mental disorders that confront older persons.
 
The Conference aims to promote awareness for combating Alzheimer disease, which spreads widely among the older population. The association sets recommendations to serve better the elderly with Alzheimer disease.

The Saudi Ministry of Health revealed its plan to implement a new medical examination program for older people that will reveal all the diseases that the older people might have had exposure. The prince also called for an awareness campaign for Alzheimer’s disease in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Abdulaziz Almqoshi, the general supervisor of the Saudi foundation for Alzheimer’s says that the proportion of people with Alzheimer's in Saudi Arabia is estimated at 2% of the elder population.  The Association distributed about 2 million riyals (Saudi) to charities to help the Alzheimer's patients.
